Fall Tackle Football

Montclair pop Warner teams will play a 7-8 game schedule on Sundays in the North Jersey Pop Warner football league. Teams will be formed by age and ability. Equipment/Uniform will be provided Participants must provide own practice pants, cleats and athletic supporter (Cup) Season runs August 1st-October 31st. Plus playoffs if qualify (November) Nationals (December)
All coaches are USA certified, CPR/AED trained.
Facts of Pop Warner  
Pop Warner exists to use football, cheerleading, dance and a respect for education to develop strong, smart, responsible, healthy young men and women. We give them experiences that build their appreciation for and understanding of leadership, teamwork, and discipline.
While individual statistics may be more common, particularly among older football players, Pop Warner only recognizes the athletic accomplishments of the team, not the individual. We don't track personal tallies of touchdowns or yards rushing per game. We don't count sacks or blocked kicks. We applaud the athletic efforts of the team to reinforce the importance of teamwork, with each member.
We don't try to build stars. We don't want to over-inflate a young ego, nor do we want to risk injuring the self-esteem of a young person. Whether our kids have good days or bad, they are still an integral part of our team…and always will be.
Kids compete with kids of similar age and size. Pop Warner is the ONLY youth football program (local, regional and national) that sets and enforces a strict AGE & WEIGHT MATRIX that reduces the risk and reality of injuries.

Fall Bulldog Flag Football ages 5-7

Pop Warner Flag football, is desgined for Boys and girls ages 5-7. All participants must be aged 5, also players can NOT turn 8 before by the cut off date is July 31st of the current year and shall be participants league age for the coming season. There are no height or weight restrictions on players. All particpants are required to fill out a player packet prior to participation. 
Registration: 
Please make all payments at www.communitypass.net 
then log onto www.montclairbulldogs.com to complete player packet and fill out forms. 
League play:
As memebers of the North Jersey pop warner league, compiled of teams from Essex and Union counties. Team will play 6-8 week season of league games and practcies between the months of August-October. Games are usually held on Sunday mornings betwen 9am and 10am home and away games, (Some Saturdays may be schedueld).
Equipment:
Jerseys and mouthguard wil be provided for players. Participants are required to purchase own cleats, Sneakers are okay. 
Volunteer Coaches are greatly needed to run program. We will train, all coaches must have backgroud checks and Certifications in order to coach. Please register on communitypass site if intrested.
