Pop Warner is the only national youth sports organization in America that requires its participants to perform adequately in the classroom. A 2.0 GPA is the minimum requirement for all athletes.
Participants in grades 5th through 8th with a 96% GPA are considered All American Little Scholars and should submit the three (3) page application below to the Bulldogs Organization.
What happens next? After applications, have been processed, Eastern Region determines placement of first team, second team or honorable mention. Eighth grade, first team recipients have an opportunity to win a scholarship if chosen. Eastern Region honors these scholars with an annual banquet usually the third (3rd) weekend in March.
Those applications are then forwarded to the National Pop Warner Little Scholar Team where the same process is applied regarding placement of first team, second team or honorable mention. Again, eighth grade first team recipients have an opportunity to win a scholarship if chosen. National Pop Warner honors these scholars with an annual banquet usually the third (3rd) weekend in May.
