Welcome to the Montclair Bulldogs Cheerleading Program
Our program goals are to teach new cheerleaders the fundamentals of cheer and to help build and expand the skills of more experienced cheerleaders.
We provide a safe and fun learning environment in which our cheerleaders will also learn the meaning of teamwork, leadership, sportsmanship and hard work. There are no tryouts, everyone is assigned to a team depending upon their age and skill level.
We have a knowledgeable staff with completed background checks and cheer training.
Cheerleading is an incredible team sport that will challenge you both physically and mentally.
At the end of the season our athletes will walk away having grown in their skills and self-confidence, in addition to the lasting Bulldog memories.
If you are new to cheerleading take a deep breath and hold on.
It's not just a frivolous sideline activity.
Cheerleading is a roller coaster of events and breathtaking possibilities.
We are committed to a comfortable and stress-free season.

2024 Cheer Season
Practice begins August 1s
· Cheerleaders practice Monday through Friday in August from 6-8pm in Nishuane Park.
· After Labor Day cheerleaders practice Tuesday, Wednesday & Thursday from 6-8pm in Hillside School.
We cheer sideline at football games on Saturday/Sunday rain or shine.
· Cheerleaders have a local competition in October.
· Cheerleaders have a regional competition in November, if they place at the local competition.
· Cheerleaders will attend the National competition in Florida if they place at regionals.
Parents are responsible for their athletes cost to Nationals
· The National Cheer Competition is held in Florida December 9th thru 13th.
· $275 is due on or before August 3 for new cheerleaders "Bow to Toe" accessories.
$155 is due on or before August 3 for returning cheerleaders "Bow to Toe" accessories.
