This Cheer Program is a combination of Sideline AND Competitive Cheer
2026 Cheer Season (Ages 5-16)
Cheerleading is a TEAM SPORT
· April 1, 2026 – Registration opens and runs thru August 1, 2026.
· August 1, 2026 - Practice begins - all athletes should be registered.
· August practice schedule - Monday thru Friday 6-8pm Nishuane Park
· September thru December practice schedule - Tuesday, Wednesday & Thursday 6-8pm Hillside School
· You will receive communication from us (Bulldogs Cheer) once you have registered for the 2026 season.
· Communication will switch from email to the Band App on August 1st.
· Our 5, 6 & 7 year old's cheer sideline at football games on Saturdays (subject to change).
· Our 8 year old's and older athletes cheer sideline at football games on Sundays (subject to change).
· All athletes compete in a local cheer competition. If we place, we move on to Regionals in Trenton and Nationals in NC.
· The National cheer competition requires additional travel costs (hotel & transportation).
· All athletes must purchase cheer accessories (sneakers etc.) approximately $300.
· Athletes must secure a uniform rental fee.
· Register via community pass, complete forms, upload birth certificate, photo and final report card dated June 2026.

2024 National Champs!
Welcome to the Montclair Bulldogs Cheerleading Program
(Ages 5-16)
Our program goals are to teach new cheerleaders the fundamentals of cheer and to help build and expand the skills of more experienced cheerleaders.
We provide a safe and fun learning environment in which our cheerleaders will also learn the meaning of teamwork, leadership, sportsmanship and hard work. There are no tryouts, everyone is assigned to a team depending upon their age and skill level.
We have a knowledgeable staff with completed background checks and cheer training.
Cheerleading is an incredible team sport that will challenge you both physically and mentally.
At the end of the season our athletes will walk away having grown in their skills and self-confidence, in addition to the lasting Bulldog memories.
If you are new to cheerleading take a deep breath and hold on.
It's not just a frivolous sideline activity.
Cheerleading is a roller coaster of events and breathtaking possibilities.
We are committed to a comfortable and stress-free season.
