This Cheer Program is a combination of Sideline AND Competitive Cheer.

Season: August thru December 2026

Location:Nishuane Park - 75 Cedar Street & Hillside School - 54 Orange Road in Montclair

     Ages: 5 through 14 

     Cost: Registration fee (TBA) & Accessories package $300+ (fundraiser available to assist)

PRACTICE

* August 3, 2026 - First Day of practice - all athletes should be registered.

* August practice schedule - Monday thru Friday 6-8pm - Nishuane Park - 75 Cedar Avenue.

* September thru December practice schedule - 3 days a week > 6-8pm Hillside School - 54 Orange Road.

TEAMS

* Tiny Mites - Ages 5, 6, 7 | Squad cheers sideline at Flag football games on Saturdays (subject to change).

* Mitey Mites - Ages 6,7,8,9 | Squad cheers sideline at tackle football games on Sundays (subject to change).

* Jr Pee Wee - Ages 8,9,10,11 | Squad cheers sideline at tackle football games on Sundays (subject to change).

* Pee Wee - Ages 9,10,11,12 | Squad cheers sideline at tackle football games on Sundays (subject to change).

* Jr Varsity - Ages 10,11,12,13,14 | Squad cheers sideline at tackle football games on Sundays (subject to change).

* All athletes compete in our local cheer competition. If we place, we move on to regionals in Trenton and Nationals in NC.


Additional Information

* You will receive communication from us (Bulldogs Cheer) via email once you have registered for the 2026 season.

* Communication will switch from email to Band on August 1st | Download BAND App here https://share.google/D1jxaAUZikL8kcS72

* The National cheer competition in North Carolina requires additional hotel & transportation costs.

* We offer a fundraiser to assist with cost for Nationals. 

* All athletes must purchase cheer accessories (sneakers etc.) approximately $300+.

* Ms. Danielle offers a competitive cheer program from January through April/May...inquire for more details.

2024 National Champs!


 Welcome to the Montclair Bulldogs Cheerleading Program 

(Ages 5-14) 

Our program goals are to teach new cheerleaders the fundamentals of cheer and to help build and expand the skills of more experienced cheerleaders.

We provide a safe and fun learning environment in which our cheerleaders will also learn the meaning of teamwork, leadership, sportsmanship and hard work. There are no tryouts, everyone is assigned to a team depending upon their age and skill level.

We have a knowledgeable staff with completed background checks and cheer training. 

Cheerleading is an incredible team sport that will challenge you both physically and mentally. 

At the end of the season our athletes will walk away having grown in their skills and self-confidence, in addition to the lasting Bulldog memories.

If you are new to cheerleading take a deep breath and hold on. 

It's not just a frivolous sideline activity.

Cheerleading is a roller coaster of events and breathtaking possibilities.  

We are committed to a comfortable and stress-free season.  

If you are returning to the Bulldogs, I want to thank you for your support and commitment as we continue to grow.
